1. Definitions
1.1 The Story of my life: The name of the website owned and managed by Black Rooster Studios CC our company located at Johannesburg, South Africa.
1.2 Customer: The natural person who purchases our services.
1.3 Services: Creation of remembrance videos and family photography as described on our website.

2. Applicability
2.1 These general terms and conditions apply to all agreements, quotations and deliveries of services by Story of my life.
2.2 Deviations from these conditions are only valid if agreed in writing.

3. Services and Delivery
3.1 Story of my life offers a tailor-made service for recording, editing and delivering memory videos.
3.2 The recordings will be done at a pre-agreed location and time. The client must provide clear instructions regarding specific wishes for the recording and content.
3.3 The delivery of the final video will take place within 3 weeks after the recording session, unless otherwise agreed.

4. Prices and Payments
4.1 All prices are inclusive of VAT, unless otherwise stated.
4.2 A deposit of 100% of the total amount is required upon confirmation of the order.
4.3 Payments must be made via the payment methods indicated on the invoice. In the event of late payment, we reserve the right to postpone delivery or terminate the agreement.

5. Cancellation and Changes
5.1 Clients can cancel the recording session up to 7 days before the scheduled date without additional costs.
5.2 Changes to the assignment or recording session must be communicated at least 7 days in advance.

6. Liability
6.1 The Story of my life is not liable for any indirect, consequential or consequential loss or damage resulting from the use of our services.
6.2 Our liability is limited to the amount paid by the customer for the specific service giving rise to the claim.
6.3 The Story of my life is not responsible for delays caused by unforeseen circumstances beyond our control, such as weather conditions or technical problems.

7. Intellectual Property
7.1 All videos, images and other material produced by The Story of my life remain the property of The Story of my life / Black Rooster Studios CC until full payment has been made.
7.2 The customer has the right to use the final product solely for personal and non-commercial purposes.

8. Privacy
8.1 Story of my life handles all personal data in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
8.2 The customer consents to the use of personal data necessary for the performance of the services.

9. Complaints and Disputes
9.1 Any complaints about our services must be submitted in writing within 7 days of delivery via info@thestoryofmylife.co.za. We aim to handle complaints within 14 days.
9.2 These general terms and conditions are governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa.

10. Changes to the Terms
The Story of my life reserves the right to change these terms and conditions. The most recent version is always published on our website.
